We started 788wim with one clear goal: give Pakistani sports fans and betting enthusiasts a reliable, transparent and responsible platform to engage with the sports they love — from PSL T20 showdowns to ICC World Cups and beyond.
788wim was founded by a team of sports enthusiasts and technology professionals who recognized a gap in the Pakistan market: a trusted, English-language information and guide platform that could help Pakistani users navigate the complex world of online sports betting with clarity, honesty and full transparency.
From our early days as a small guide platform serving readers in Karachi and Lahore, we've grown into a comprehensive resource trusted by users across Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar and beyond. Throughout that journey, two things have never changed: our commitment to responsible gambling and our respect for every user's right to make informed choices.
We understood early on that the Pakistani market needed more than just another betting site. It needed a platform that spoke the local language — not just in tone, but in cultural context. References to Easypaisa, JazzCash and Raast aren't just dropped in for colour; they reflect a genuine understanding of how Pakistani users manage their finances day to day.
To provide Pakistani sports betting enthusiasts with the clearest, most accurate and most responsibly presented online betting information available — empowering users to make informed decisions while always prioritising their wellbeing.
To be the most trusted English-language betting guide platform in Pakistan, recognized for transparency, educational depth and an unwavering commitment to responsible gambling practices — setting a standard that the industry can look to.
The name 788wim reflects ambition and momentum — it's short, memorable and carries the energy of a platform that's always pushing forward. Behind the brand is a team that genuinely loves sports, understands data and cares about the communities it serves across Pakistan.
Pakistani users aged 18 and above who engage with online sports betting as a form of entertainment. We serve enthusiasts who follow Pakistan cricket, PSL/T20 leagues, ICC tournaments, football's Premier League and Champions League, UFC events and kabaddi — providing guides, odds explainers, payment-method information and responsible gambling resources.
Every decision we make at 788wim — from how we write our guides to how we design our platform — is grounded in these principles.
These six pillars define how 788wim operates and why Pakistani betting enthusiasts rely on us for trustworthy, practical guidance.
Every guide, explainer and piece of content on 788wim is written in natural, professional English tailored specifically for Pakistani readers. We reference familiar payment rails like Easypaisa and JazzCash, local cities, cricket culture and PKR amounts — because context matters and generic global content simply doesn't cut it for our audience.
We don't bury important information in small print. Our bonus-terms explainers, wagering-requirement guides and withdrawal-process overviews are written plainly so that users in Karachi, Lahore or Peshawar can understand exactly what they're signing up for — before they deposit a single rupee.
Responsible gambling is not a compliance checkbox for us — it's a founding principle. We prominently feature self-exclusion guides, deposit-limit tutorials, loss-limit tools and clear adults-only messaging on every page. If gambling stops being entertainment, we want users to find help immediately, and our Responsible Gambling page is always one click away.
From Pakistan's national cricket team performance analysis to PSL franchise form guides, ICC tournament previews, football's Premier League and Champions League, UFC event breakdowns and kabaddi — 788wim covers the sports that Pakistani fans actually care about, with betting context woven in naturally and responsibly.
User data is handled with strict confidentiality. We do not sell personal data to third parties, we encrypt sensitive information and we give users clear controls over their account data in line with our published Privacy Policy. Knowing who has your data — and why — is a right, not a privilege.
Our support team is available 24/7 via live chat and email. Urdu-language assistance is available on request for users who prefer it. Whether you have a question about a bonus term, a withdrawal query or a responsible gambling concern, a real person is always ready to help — without scripted runarounds.
These are not aspirational statements — they are standards we hold ourselves to every day, across every piece of content and every user interaction on 788wim.
We do not fabricate regulatory approvals, license numbers, government endorsements or guaranteed return figures. If we don't know something for certain, we say so. Pakistani users deserve accuracy, not marketing fiction.
We clearly state that Pakistan's Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 restricts gambling, that online/remote gambling status depends on applicable law, and that users must understand their own legal position. This is not legal advice — it is honest disclosure.
We reference Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah as familiar Pakistani payment rails only. We never claim these providers endorse, support or permit gambling — and we advise users to check operator cashiers and provider terms independently.
We actively promote the use of responsible gambling tools including deposit limits, loss limits, session-time reminders and self-exclusion. Our Responsible Gambling page is a full resource — not a brief disclaimer tucked in the footer.
